Q: Is my data safe?
A: Nexaccounts are stored on our own high-grade servers under lock & key, with dedicated alarms & monitored by security patrols.
Q: Can my data be seen or intercepted?
A: NeXaccounts runs over a secure internet connection to our server, so all data is encrypted. We only give your accountant or bookkeeper access to your accounts, unless you specifically give your login details to other parties.
Q: What about backups?
A: Our system is backed up daily, and in the event of a complete server failure, we anticipate being up and running within 24 hours.
Q: How reliable is the connection?
A: Apart from being secure & fast, our connection is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Sometimes however, issues fall beyond our control due to third party problems, therefore we cannot make any guarantees if our internet connection goes down.
Q: Why can I not get onto my NeXaccounts site?
A: Check you can get a webpage up at all on your device, if not you may have an internet connection issue with your ISP.
Q: Why do I get a "Cannot verify server" or "Problem with Website Security Certificate" message?
A: NeXaccounts uses a security certificate issued by GeoTrust that encrypts data to and from our servers. Only a few devices display this warning. Simply accept or proceed with the request, to continue logging in.
Q: What is Javascript and why does it need to be activated?
A: NeXaccounts uses a programming language called Javascript (among others), to make calculations on the fly. If it's not enabled, this won't happen and you'll need to manually enter correct figures. Enabling Javascript is different across web browsers, and we will post the answers soon. Meanwhile, please feel free to contact us for help.
